We've Won Gold AGAIN!!!
Our 2006 BLACK SHIRAZ Has Won a Gold Medal at the
2007 Small Wine Makers Show In Stanthorpe! Hooray!
Our 2006 Black Shiraz has taken another GOLD MEDAL at
the 2007 The Courier-Mail and Sofitel Brisbane Queensland Wine Awards.
We also won GOLD with our 2005 Tehembrin Merlot! We're so proud of this as this was has long been the Flag Ship wine for our company.
In fact every wine we submitted won an award, Our 05 Black Shiraz, 07 Rose, 07 Unwooded Chardonnay, 05 Shiraz Cabernet all took Bronze Medals. Our Wine maker Jim Barnes won the overall Trophy for his Rooklyn Shiraz. Congratulations to all! We also congratualte our fantastic & hard working Vineyard manager Clem Parsons who is producing wonderful grapes for us! This vintage is looking even better despite the rains efforts, our 08 Vintage looks terrific! Our Chardonnay harvesting is well underway, Clem is extremely happy with the fruit characters, so another great drop this year, very exciting!

Mount Tamborine Vineyard & Winery was the first winery and vineyard to establish in the Gold Coast Hinterland Wine Country and we are located at 128 Long Road Gallery Walk Tamborine Mountain. We are very proud that we are one of Mt Tamborine's boutique wineries that grow and produce all their own red, white and fortified wines at our Ballandean property Severn Hills Vineyard and Winery. Our winery was originally established by founder and visionary Roger Hart in 1990 and after his passing in November 2003, Roger's vision for establishing a prominent place for exceptional food and wine within South-East Queensland's Gold Coast Hinterland region has been continued by his wife Ann and daughter Danielle Hart.
The Gallery Walk Cellar Door outlet exclusively sells their award winning wines including the famous Tehembrin Merlot, Daisy Chardonnay, Chocolate Port, Show Reserve Muscat and their Ruby Port (previously called Bush Turkey Port - next time you call into the cellar door ask our wonderful sales staff about the great story behind the name change). Located in the heart of the town's famous Gallery Walk tourist strip, the facility includes, restaurant, coffee shop, gourmet foods & gift shops.
We take great pride in designing menus that match our wines using as much fresh local ingredients as is possible.
We have an impressive history of wine awards and we are open to the public daily between 10.00am & 4.00pm.
Our aim is to provide the ultimate cuisine and fine wine experience by combining fresh local produce with our award winning Queensland wines.
